Sure, they're looking to make a statement, and it's in the Dome, but how does that help them? They are definitely Not-A-Problem or a Virtual-Lock game. They are in many people's Top 5...........Dude, I am always boozed up :coldone, but regardless, I have them behind Pittsburgh and Rutgers mainly because we play WVU at home.I look at more than just their ranking. I look at where and when we play them. Three of my top four tough games are away games. BTW, I think WVU will be a very tough game...it just happens to be fifth on my list.Okay, I thought about it some more, and moved Pitt down to 5th. I figured Louisville would have had a wake-up call after game 1, but they continue to struggle on Defense which will ultimately be their undoing (as we say in this weeks result). Offensively they are still one of the best in our conference though, so don't underestimate them ... it's a good thing we have two of the best DBs in the conference/NCAA too. ;-)I've been very impressed with Cincinnati's offense and defense. That will be a tough game.See this is where you and I differ. While they look good in their games on paper, I am not sold on Cincy just yet. They haven't played anyone to give them a real challenge yet. After a conference game (against WV, Louisville, Rutgers or us) or a team with at least an average/good offense or defense then I'll assess them. Until then, I'm just keeping my eye on them and seeing what happens. And, UCF impressed me with how they kept up with Texas.Correction: You were surprised by how well UCF kept up with Texas (but then, so was I) ... Better offense than last year and real good defense. I think it will help that we will be a)looking for revenge, b)home game, and c)homecoming. I think by the time we play them, we will be ready; but with that said it might be one of the toughest home games... before everybody calls me a nut-job, hear me out. WV and 'Ville are very good teams, but have no defense. I think we can match them point for point any day. Cinci has a decent offense, but a defense that is ranked near the top...I think the fact that we moved the ball pretty well against an Auburn Defense, @ Auburn is going to help us a TON for the game.
