are practices open to the public

robinson will never garner a fan base with closed practices

I have a feeling that with their location of practice (Fowler Fields, south side across the street from the Sun Dome), that practices are open to the public as long as you don't get in the way.

I don't think there has ever been any interest in the public watching the band practice. so I am assuming that is isnt closed to the public...

If you are interested in going, the best place to watch from and stay out of the way is to watch from the little hills that are east of the fields.

I thought it was a pretty good impression.

HOT NEEDS to be placed in the endzone.  Nobody in the east side of the stadium can hear them.  I sat with friends in section 233 for a game last year and I couldnt hear them at all.

But now with 300...there is no way they can sit anywhere without direct field access.  It would be impossible to move all 300 up the isle, down the ramps, under the stadium, and onto the field.  They would have to start at the beginning of 2nd quarter and that's if they've made it all in seats by then...

WTG HOT!

IM SO HAPPY!!! I CAN"T WAIT TO HEAR THEM!!!  OF course practices are open...in fact...i bet that alumni going to practices would encourage the band to have more school spirit.  Since many of the members are new, it will show them what kind of people we have at USF.  Diehards who will go to Marching Band rehearsal to hear the fight song!

I might be getting crazy here...but...wow, Im so excited for HOT this year!!!

GO BULLS!!!

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
