Any reason why these promotions wouldn't be listed in the 'Promotions' section of the official site?  Besides forwarding the email, is there a link to which we can direct people that we feel could be interested?

RTB, I totally agree.  This should be listed prominantly on the www.gousfbulls.com website.  I've complained about that website before.  It could be alot easier to find things, and sometimes items aren't even there when they should be.  In fact football tickets should be the number one item right now on that website.  It should be the default home page and then you can direct yourself to men's hoops or whatever other sport you're interested in finding.

Hello, anybody listening??

Mag. We've all been screaming for promotions like these for the last 2-3 years.

All the sudden the school to the east sells 20000 and we have not one but 2 promotions avail.

I wish they just would have done this to kick off the BE in 2005

They did have promotions the past two years just less people were looking.  Suddenly the first promotion flew off the shelf, they can't even get enough helmets in time to satisfy demand, so they're doing a 2nd one.

It's called winning do enough of it then interest grow.  Remember 'the east' was under 9,600 season tickets in 2005 before the new stadium, and had been at that level for quite sometime.  The growth occurred very coincidentally with the announcement of the new stadium and creating their ticket packages around the stadium euphoria.  Kinda like when USF was at nearly 30k in our inaugeral season.

They probably figured that entry into the BE would spark a significant jump in season tix sales, which it should have, but they were wrong. They probably thpught that the success of last year would spark a significant jump in season tix sales, which it should have, but they were wrong.... hence the more widely marketed promotions. There HAVE been promotions in the past just not with an as broad target audience so this is not something NEW.

And to somehow try and suggest that these promotions are a result of what has transpired at UCF is freaking ludicrous. Maybe if we had the same target demographic and were competing for customers that MIGHT carry some weight, but we're not ..... Get off UCF's teat, Joe.
