Will just be there for a long weekend to see my girls, but plan to check out an event. Staying on Ipanema Beach, Copacabana Beach has a few events.

I was just down there a long weekend, half Friday and half Monday ... was just down there visiting my wife and daughter. Wife is working on getting her visa, again since we spent a year in Brasil after she already received her Green Card here. I hadn't seen my daughter and wife for about 5 months and any event just dropped down the "needs" chart.

Watched some on TV.

Olympic Officials have been happy so far ... Rio de Janeiro will know in 2009 if they get the 2016 Olympic Games.

Hope so, would definately plan on a 2 week holiday there and take in some action.
