I was looking around on MySpace and came across this ad at the bottom of one of the pages.

That is one of the ways donor and owner dollars are put to work - advertising on various sites looking for new Bulls fans to join us in our online community in support of the Bulls.  Ads have been placed on the Tampa Tribune, the Oracle, USAToday and Sporting News among other places.  I am glad it got your attention and hopefully it will lead a few more Bulls to TheBullsPen.com.

No.  The ads are paid for by the site donors and me.

What E.T. is suggesting is that you include a link back to the site in your different profiles (MySpace, Facebook, etc.), in your sig at other message boards, and in your email sigs...this kind of advertising is free and brings far more people at no cost to the site.

The placed ads help us reach other audiences that might not be on MySpace, opponent message boards or on your email list.  We get some good leads on the national web sites.  FWIW, we spend about $60/month in advertising this time of year - during football season ~$200/month.  Hence we had hundreds of new Bulls August-November.  This year our goal on our new board will be to add 1000 members.  This board couldn't have handled any more members last season, we basically had to hope things slowed some...

Why?  We just want to have a HUGE online Bulls presence for all to see.  Like butts in the seats, a thriving online community indicates a lot for a growing program.  Please help hook some more Bulls fans on TheBullsPen.com.
