19-8 Great Job Bulls!

How about them Bulls!!  19-8 is a great start to the year.  Yuri Higgins earned his 4th win of the season with seven strong innings in his start.  Not bad for a spot starter or long man out of the bullpen.  Otero has four wins and he's our ace.  Only Chris Delaney, our Sunday Starter, has more wins (5).  Great job Yuri, and great job team!

Lets take care of those Rattlers tomorrow too!!

I got there at the bottom of the 8th. It didn't seem like it was that much, but I guess I am a bad judge of attendance. They announced it at the end of the game to be 455. It didn't seem like a lot of A&M fans though.

Quick question.  If a team weren't to win their conference, generally how many wins do you need for an at-large bid to a regional?

Just for comparison, last year we were 14-13, 27 games into the season.

Generally 40 wins is the bench mark. The committee also looks at RPI and how you close out the season. They like to see a team that gets hot towards the end of the year.

The Georgia Tech series in May could go a long way with the NCAA Selection Committee.  But if we just keep taking two of three from our Big East brethren,  we'll be alright.
