And Rutgers is a fun game. Tailgating with those big greasy subs is something to see.

Need car though, stadium is a good 4-5 miles from there. Piscataway is no New York City.....quiet college town, very nice. You park at the basketball stadium and catch the trolley full of Rutgers fans to the stadium since there is no parking. Plan on going again this year.....could be the game of the year for the Bulls!!!

For the last game I stayed at my USF buddies house down near Philly and we drove up to game but I would like to stay in Big Apple and combine the trip with some sightseeing. The NYC subway system is strictly in the city. You can, however, get to the stadium by going to Penn Station and taking a commuter train from there.

You can, however, get to the stadium by going to Penn Station and taking a commuter train from there.I actually live in the area and there is a way to get from NYC to New Brunswick, NJ. New Brunswick is a 5 minute drive to the stadium. A matter of fact you can see the stadium on the train ride in. Take either the A,C,E or the 1,2,3 to New York Penn Station. Then catch the New Jersey Transit, Northeast Corridor Line, from New York Penn Station to New Brunswick. (I suggest that you go to the NJ Transit waiting area to purchase your ticket and wait for your train announcement. You will notice a large majority of the people traveling on the NE Corridor line.)After a 30-45 minute train ride you will be in New Brunswick. Across Albany Street at the Ferren Deck there is a shuttle that will take you to the stadium. Here are more details on the shuttle http://www.scarletknights.com/facilities/directions-stadium.asp
