It looks like they are in the Final 8 now.  A win at Virginia puts them in the Final Four.  WNIT or not, that is a great step for the program.  Do they play this at Madison Square Garden for the women too?

Looking at the bracket it does not say anything about going to MSG, so I would have to think it is played as it is being played now.

Yeah, it says all games are played on home campuses of the participants.  Man it would be great if we could host a Final Four game after the Virginia game (if we win of course).

No, its played at the higher seed.

The WNIT has no affiliation to the NIT, which is now owned by the NCAA. It was created and by a different company all together.

Great game - very exciting.  The few fans and students that were there got into it big time.  These girls deserve better.

USF's in the round of 16 now. I posted this on the blog, but I think attendance was the main reason for going to Virginia -- the Cavaliers averaged 3,755 for their homes games this year, vs. 1,094 for USF entering Monday's games. Virginia only got 1,149 for its game Monday, but that's still nearly double was USF got.

I believe it is because of the SunDome being reserved for another event... maybe wrong, would not be the first, nor the last... why am I still up?... I'm sure I will be slurring my speech in the AM

Actually, SunDome was available for the next game and we were hoping to host.  If Charlotte would have held on to beat Virginia, we would be.  Virginia just draws a better crowd as of now then we do.

Went today and it was a pretty sad showing to say the least, but those who went had fun.

Yes it was a pretty sad showing...especially on the part of the students...but you are right it was a lot fun.. the crowd of 592 made a lot of noise during the 20-3 run...thanks to the plywood floor :D

It was great to have another chance to see Jessica an Company in action at the Dome.

GO BULLS..Beat Virginia.
