Bulls Welcome No. 19 Gators In Softball Twin Bill Action On Wednesday

TAMPA, Fla. (Feb. 13, 2007) – The University of South Florida softball team will look to get back on the winning track when it hosts Florida in a doubleheader on Wednesday at the USF Softball Field. Game one is scheduled to take place at 2 p.m.

The Bulls opened up the 2007 season with a record of 3-2 this past weekend. USF advanced to the championship game of the Best Western Tournament but could not hold onto a 3-0 lead, losing to Western Kentucky, 4-3.  

USF is also seeking its first victory against the Gators since a 5-2 win on April 13, 2005. Florida leads the all-time series 21-12. Both the Gators and the Bulls have done better against each other when they play away from their respective home stadiums. Florida boasts an 11-3 record at the USF Softball Field, while USF has a record 6-9 at the Florida Softball Field. The Bulls have gotten the best of the Gators at neutral sites with a record of 3-1. Combining road and neutral site games, the Bulls are just below .500 with a slate of 9-10.

I agree, I am sure a ton of people would love to attend, however the majority of the world is working at 2pm, who picked the starting time?

I was just looking at the NCAA softball website and  UF beat #1 Arizona, these are some huge game tonight that will be a pretty good season guage.
