USF Bowl Champ Football Team to be Honored at Basketball Game

TAMPA, FLA. (Feb. 2, 2007) – In recognition of its first-ever bowl game win December 23 over East Carolina in the Papajohns.com Bowl, the USF football team will be honored at halftime of the USF men’s basketball game Saturday night against Notre Dame. Game time is 8 p.m. The USF women will play St. John’s at 5 p.m.

Coach Jim Leavitt and his squad will be on hand to for a trophy presentation from Papajohns.com Bowl Executive Director Mark Meadows.

Tickets for USF men’s and women’s basketball and season tickets for football are available at 1-800-GoBulls. Basketball tickets are also available through TicketMaster and the USF Sun Dome Box Office.
