If you are already missing football like me, let's see what you think about our schedule.

1)  What is our toughest home game?

2)  What is our toughest conference road game?

3)  What is our biggest trap game (the game we should win, but may lose by overlooking)?

4)  Which will be a tougher game....UCF or @ FAU?

1) Louisville - late season importance

2) Rutgers - Thursday night (Pitt not to far behind because of cold weather)

3) UCF/Rutgers - over look UCF for revenge against RU or too drained from UCF to fight RU, pick your poison

4) UCF - only because it is the War on I-4

- Wish there was one more game before Auburn.

- Not liking that double trap in the middle.

- Weather favorable schedule except for Pitt game.

1) WVU...its early in the season and theyre looking for revenge

2) Rutgers...5 days after UCF

3) UCF- dont want to focus too much on rutgers 5 days later only to lose to UCF

4) UCF. come on now

FAU may be lightyears behind UCF, but FIU was 0-12 this season :-/

We saw what should have been against FIU.  FAU blew out FIU 31-0 granted they were different teams after the brawl in Coral Gables.  Still, no excuses play like a champion.

5-7 (4-3) in the Sun Belt is not entirely awful.  UCF struggled this year and they will be playing with a new qb which may or may not be a good thing depending on the way you look at it.

Toughest Home Game is West Virginia by far (revenge factor)

Toughest Conference Roadie is Rutgers by far (ESPN night game)

Biggest Trap is Rutgers by far (short week, ESPN night game)

Tougher Game is UCF by far (FAU ranked in the 110s)

I too would have liked to play Auburn on the third week, but having it off we'll get to sit home and watch all of the great games on that day.  That is normally the first huge week of college football (UF-UT, ND-Mich, etc.), so it will fun watching the other games without having to worry about the Bulls.

As long as we do well @ Auburn and with WVU, the rest of the season should fall into place.

1)  What is our toughest home game?

- West Virginia. Our team might not be

2)  What is our toughest conference road game?

- Rutgers. Short week and national TV are not good combinations for USF.

3)  What is our biggest trap game (the game we should win, but may lose by overlooking)?

- North Carolina.  USF won't have a problem overlooking UCF, CJL will be sure of that. But UNC is followed by WVU and we have a bye week before it.  There is such a thing as too much preparation, and the team might not have completely gelled before WVU.

4)  Which will be a tougher game....UCF or @ FAU?

UCF.

1. West Virginia will be tough... early season games tend to favor the defenses, will the new O-coordinator have everything in tune and humming by game 4 of the season?

2. Rutgers by a landslide... the quick turn-around after the UCF game (which will be an emotionally-stocked game).

3. Syracuse.  They have been climbing steadily out of the conference cellar and this game is sandwiched between home games with Cincinnati and Louisville (both of whom beat us last season).  The Syracuse game just SCREAMS "look ahead".

4.  FAU or UCF?  Tough one... For this season I say UCF, but the two teams are closer than many would think.  The mouse-towners have a little more speed to burn, coupled with thier absolute hatred of us.  Either way, the Bulls will have to learn how to win consistently with a target on their chests.
