I think he is back no matter what but I also think we have a chance to win maybe 3 more game and still make MSG.  Time will tell.

Unfortunately, I think you're right.

If contract money weren't a factor, then he should be bounced outta here if we don't finish with an overall .500 record, or higher.

rmc shouldhave been gone last year

he needs to go

usf needs to bring in a young hot coach or a name

rmc record is dismal and 99 out of 100 coaches would have been fired by now

If we get the same performance the rest of the season, the victories will come. It's not the number of victories but the performance that counts at this stage of Mac's tenure.

Next year should be his true test when it comes to victories. Too bad Buckley and Mattis won't be in the lineup. The added maturity of our underclassmen and the addition of Holmes and other recruits should make up the difference.

Victory = performance.

Loss = lack of performance.

There is no next year.

3 more wins and competitive in all the rest.  My best picks are the last 4 and at SJU.  I've said several time they will win some in February.  Beating ND would be huge but I thinking the best we can expect is another competitive game.  One thing I know is they will have 6 days to get ready and if they have heart they will be hungry come Saturday nite.

Needs a win over Syracuse, LU, or Notre Dame.

And then needs to win 2 of the 4 games with Depaul, St. Johns, Providence.

Then he is back.

This game was a very big showing for him.

What difference does it make if he's "hot," Smazza?  What do a guy's looks have to do with it?

Strange viewpoint.  I guess it's the California lifestyle rubbing off on him.

(Just joshing, Smazza.  Couldn't resist that one.)

Big East Tourney. Period.

If we don't make the Big East Tournament and USF doesn't do something about then it will be a sad statement from the USF heads.

i wish people would stop lumping RMC's overall big east record together like it some defining stat about what kind of coach he is.

you could take last year's team and put coach k, bobby knight, and dean smith on the bench and we still wouldnt of won 5 games in big east play.

this team is better then last years team and still not full strength.  as long as we keep showing improvement i think he stays.  the first year that we regress then he is gone.

we werent a good basketball program in c-usa.  how do you think we can change coaches, jump to the big east, lose 60% of the team that wasnt very good in a mid level confence and expect to immediately compeat in 1 of the top 2 basketball conferences in the nation.

we will win 4 more big east games and we will get into the big east tourney.  if we only win 3 more games and dont make the tourney, then he will be back still.
