Don't know if baseball is a  "major sport" but they were as high as #5 at one point.

MLB baseball is a major sport, not college.

i think major college sports are those that have regular season games televised on espn show up on the bottom line on ESPN.

which limits it to football, and mens and womens bball.

Womens BBall is not a major sport. It is only on ESPN because ESPN was forced to brodcast WBB.

The "revenue" sports in the NCAA are mostly Football and Men's Basketball.

Some schools have been able to turn profit with women's hoops (14 did in 2005, and you'd never be able to guess most of them.) and others have been able to do so with Baseball. It all depends on where you are.

Just checked rankings on ESPN.com  Yeah, these are very cocnsistent polls.

No votes in the AP poll.  16 votes in the USAToday/Espn poll.  Up from 8 votes last week, but our position doesn't change.  30th based on votes received same as last week.
