Student Basketball Game Tix

Is there any way for students to buy discounted tickets for basketball games?  A couple of my buddies (non-USF students) would like to goto the USF-ND basketball game on 2/3.  I was just curious if I could buy any additional tix @ a discounted rate.

You can buy companion tickets but those are like $20-something dollars I believe, not really discounted

you can buy companion tickets for like $17 or $22 on day of game.

however, its only for level 2 in the student section.

How early are all the students that are regularly at the game getting there to get a decent spot.  I know the game is at 8.

Not sure, but this is a Saturday night game so it could be a good night for the Icehouse party court.

Usually if you want a good seat, you can get one. I know we can get there 30 mins early and have a front row, half court seat. For a big game, get there as early as possible (I'm not sure what time the doors open).

I have been to almost every game this year, I just thought that more students will be there because it is Notre Dame.

i'm usually the first student at the gates and in the stadium, i usually get there an hour before the gates open.  but for big games i get there earlier than that.
