Does Florida's NC hurt USF's recruiting efforts?  After last night, I think so.  If I was a top RB, I would be talking to UF because they need one to repeat.  Interested in views?

No.

We aren't in the running for the Deonte Thompsons, Noel Devines, etc right now. While we may lose 1 or 2 guys to Florida, I really seriously doubt Florida's National Title hurts the basis of USF's recruiting class.

I really don't understand why people fear this very thought. My logic is the exact opposite. I think it KEEPS florida talent in florida and that is where it belongs. Do people honestly think there is not enough talent here in florida to be spread around...? If you do, then you have not watched enough high school football. If we keep handling buisness they will come regardless. It is up to us only not UF, FSU, MIAMI. We create our fate just like we have been for 10 years!  This one gets me...AWWWWWW

USF doesn't get hurt that badly because they do little out-of-state recruiting. The Gators can get whoever they want from wherever they want and USF isn't in their recruiting league.

However, this is a disaster for FSU and Miami. They picked a terrible year to go in the tank.

If I were a top RB I would want PT, Coach Urban will not allow me to shine like that in his offense. Sorry but I would pick USF for that position. If I'm a QB I may consider UF before anywhere else but with TEBOW there? My point being, 7 different backs ran the football under Myers offense ;)

UF apparently just got CJ Spiller, the Freshman RB at Clemson, to transfer there. Whether he gets a hardship waiver or not will be seen.

If this indeed true then UF's NC will officially not hurt USF's recruiting because UF will have officially filled their alotment of scholarships.  This would give them 23-24, and holding a couple of open slots for two five star receivers and 1-2 big time FL kids that USF is not involved with.

I don't know of too many kids who have picked USF over UF when it's down to just those 2. If they do, it's usually because they were UF's 2nd choice all along, and they were able to snag that big-name <whatever> from out of state and then the kid "picked" USF.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
