Question, for you recruiting gurus.  Why is CH listed as a 1 star on scout.  Also, do you think he could come in and be our backup qb, a guy who you bring him in to be a change of pace guy, or is he definitely going to wr.

Could be QB back up or WR.  Either way his presence is a plus for the team.  The fact that he has the ability to be both is tremendous.

Tx, 1 Star is probably because they haven't evaluated him yet. Default is one star on scout I belive.

He was a 4 Star coming out of HS. I would expect him to be a WR whereever he lands.

Exactly...the scout guys said he's one because no one has evaluated him.  He was a four star coming out of HS and has done nothing to lessen that impression of him.  He's said personally he wants to play safety, but he's such a tremendous athlete that he could play a number of positions and have a profound impact.  Hard to find guys that are 6-3 215lbs that run a 4.4.

wow... he wants to play safety?  that is a big safety! or an even bigger corner...

With that speed, i wonder if he could play corner?

He'd have 4 inches on most other corners.

Yeah but corner is more than just speed, it's hip swivel, and change of direction.  That's why you find smaller guys often more adept at the position.

Make him a FS and it will be tough to stop the defense like UF this year.  This year UF's defense was so tough because of one guy, Reggie Nelson.  One of the best pure FS's I've seen in a while.  The guy just never let anything get behind UF, he cleaned up all the messes, and hit like a LB.

He may not have the instinict to be a corner.  He may not like to tackle enough for safety.

He may realize he's 21 years old, with no likely better option open to him to make loads of money and lay loads of pipe than to buckle down, use his 4-star physical talents, listen to his coaches and find a position he can excel in.

Let's give the guy a break.
