I just don't see us winning at Auburn next year.  I can't see it.  That is a BIG TIME program.  I mean the Gators couldn't even win at Auburn.

Im not saying it couldn't happen, but I am not counting on it.  Then again, I thought we would get killed at WV this year.  That was unbelievable.  So who knows.

I want to see us beat WV and Louisville at Ray Jay.

That is a bigger deal for me at least.

I agree with you here.  Who does Auburn lose this year?  They don't have a great offense this year, so if our offense can play well we have a good chance.

Same reason I don't comment on baseball, softball, hockey, etc. threads ... I am only a USF Football fan.

I am a basketball fan and support a local small college team in Lake Wales that a good friend of mine is the HC, formerly of Florida Southern in Lakeland.

I do plan on attending some BasketBULL games in 2007-08, but I don't follow the team enough to comment fairly.

Auburn will be a huge game and probably the biggest atmosphere we have played in.  I do think we will be ranked by week 3.

If we can beat Auburn, then we will win the BE.  If we lose to Auburn, we can still do it, but beating them would tell us a lot more about our team.  It is really too early to pick our wins for next season because we don't know how things will lineup next season, but I'm not very optimistic about beating Auburn.

MikeB, I understand what you are saying. Auburn will be a measuring stick for us. I hope you become more optimistic about our chances. I don't see the problem with being optimistic because no one expects us to win that game. It's a great opportunity for us and an even greater undertaking. When faced with advertisty the best way to approach it is with optimisim. Maybe that will help you out in your quest, LOL :)

We beat U of L in 2005 and wound up tied for 4th place in the BE.  We beat WV in 2006 and wound up tied for 4th again.
