The announcer also said "Florida State" near the beginning of the game.  I think he called us "Florida" a couple of times.  He also said "Eastern Carolina", which was corrected by the other announcer.

Someone on college gameday... the black guy.... kept calling us the 2nd best team in the state during the halftime shows of the two later games. He also went on and on about how CJL needs more national attention for "sticking around" with the USF program and building it into a national contender.

The first time he said it I thought the Ice houses' were getting to me, but he said it two or three more times so.... yeah good press all the away around.

I did see a highlight package on ESPNNEWS Sat night.  Showed the fumble recoverly, Williams first TD and Grothe's pass.

As much as you could expect for them humping the crap out of Bobby Knight.

Thanks, I knew it was Mark or something, he is the only one on the show that voices his opinion, and it isnt the BSpn rhetoric.

So I get back to Tampa at 5:30 this morning.  I decide to stay up to see tha highlights on Sports Center.  After about a half hour I see highlights from the New Mexico bowl and the Armed Forces Bowl.  Then OSU - Florida basketball highlights.  I stayed up until about 6:30 thinking I was crazy, but no PapaJohns.com bowl highlights!

What the hell?

if it wasnt for espn there would be very little college sports on tv

usf would be no where in the mix

get on your knees and bow to espn
