The Bowl game will be a good one, just wondering what the respect level is like around here.

Thanks!

Yes, as long as they show the some respect back.

I think both side (myself included) are at fault for starting the bashing fest the last few days. I'm not really sure who started it. Any how, once the game gets closer, we are more than willing to sit down and have a conversation about football, not attendance numbers and past history.

Personally, I think most people here look a little down their noses at a C-USA team.  They forget that we were once a C-USA team.

ECU will not be a cakewalk.  They are better than UNC, UCF, and maybe as good as Kansas.  Sure they had some bad games, but they also managed to hold WVU in check for three quarters.

Will USF win? Probably.  Might even win going away.

We will probably make fun of ECU here on the message board, but only because "we" are not the ones who will take actually the field.  At the game, USF fans tend to be much, much more respectful and courteous.  Especially when we win.

I sat next to your team doctor on the way back from Punta Cana after switching flights in Miami last year.  He was headed up to Charlotte for your bowl game against NC State.  Really a nice fella.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the game.  If you guys want to come join in some discussions with us, please feel free!

ECU has a great history in football and very good fan support. I respect that BUT as some have said sometimes is hard to express it when some Pirates fan trash our school and what it has accomplished.

I went to ECU for the game in 2002 (or 2003 can't remember) great time. A friend of mine went there for undergrad so a few of us went to see him.

Your PA announcer is great.

I don't like the fact that we are facing a C-USA team. They may beat us, stranger things have happened, but the point is I want to see us play a BCS conference opponent.  I would feel the same about any non-BCS conference team, not just ECU.    ECU is as good as any other C-USA team, but  from my perspective it is "been there, done that" situation.  I

Losing to ECU would be like losing to UConn at UConn last year or losing to Army at homecoming. We are head and shoulders above them. If the line is low... bet money on the Bulls to easily cover. We win by 13. USM or Tulsa though is a different animal.
