Larry had a good run using his predecessors recruits. Since it's been his game - top to bottom - things haven't really panned out.  It's pretty hard to go from head coach at The U to 'offensive coordinator' at .... well....you know.

Now, if you wanna replace CJL with Coker, he'd probably be ready to have a sit-down.  8-)

We've all been pretty displeased with Rod Smith, but how about Larry Coker?  It's safe to say that he's a bad HC, but during the butch davis era, Coker was a great OC.

Butt.....Leavitt thinkgs Rod Smith is Norm Chow, so you won't see him going away anytime soon.

Does it matter?  Have you seen what Coker has done to the once prolific Miami offense?  It's now right offensive the past two years they've won by good fortune and defense.  No offense.  Rod Smith may not be Chow, but sometimes you can get worse and Coker would be worse.

LOL. Have you seen the Miami offense lately? Its not much to write about and the main reason he is unemployed today

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
