With the success of all the gadget plays last year against UL im scared we will get trick play happy and have it come back to bite us.  I really hope we keep the gimmicks to a minimum especially because of how successful they were last year.  Im sure the UL coaching staff has been hammering home how important it will be to stay home and play ones assignement until the ball passes the LOS.  Please Rod keep the gimmicks to a minimum.

Well the problem is that trick plays work when they are either

A) Executed perfectly

B) Secret and unexpected

C) Some combination of the above 2

The only trick play's I've seen this year are similar to the ones run last year.

exactly my point UL will be ready for our bag of tricks especially the voodoo series we turn to alot.  If we run trick plays it will have to be something like a double pass off a WR screen esque/or bubble screen play, IE something we havent shown yet.  I think if we got to the old bag of tricks we will get hurt as they will be ready to prevent what happened last year.

I wouldnt be surprised if Amarri throws a pass this week. I expect at least one trick in the first quarter...hell...lets start them off with an onsides kick.

I'm sure that Louisville will be looking for something again, and that gives us an advantage because that puts them on their heels waiting for it. I'm sure there are plays that we haven't seen that will be used just for this game.

come on, as much as you all hate him....he is decent.  you can put spurrier in there with banks and julmiste and wonder what the hell is happening
