Agreed, but I always figured that if a bowl game were to be awarded to the state of Kentucky, an ideal name for it would be the Bluegrass Bowl.

After listening to some on here about the prospects of going to Alabama I was going to suggest:

The "Stop Your Pissin' and Moanin', Your Team Could Be At Home Right Now.com" Bowl, but I think that PapaJohns.com Bowl works a little better.

The deal with Papa John's is believed to be for two years with the option for an extension. Financial terms were not disclosed.

I wonder how much "dough" this cost them.   :-X

It would be pretty cool if Papa Johns made those pizza boxes advertising both teams that will play in the bowl this season. I would not mind seeing USF Bulls printed on all of those pizza boxes. Talk about great advertising for us if that were to happen. They will more than likely just advertise the bowl game though.

I don't know, but I am sure the "dough" will "rise" in the second and option years if the bowl generates enough heat.....

I don't mind that it's on the 23rd. That's my hubby's birthday, so I fully expect that MG & the boys will give him the BULLS' first BOWL VICTORY as a present!!!!!!!!!!!
