Well most of us on this board were in that dump of a city at that same dump of a stadium and can tell you it's a dump from firsthand experience.  No stereotyping involved.

they ran out of water first game of the year

they ran out of toilet paper first game of the year

worst stadium i have ever been to and i have been to most

that picutre must be old.  thought I just heard that they actually tore down the upper deck.  the only good it served was to protect us from the rain in 2004.  I was weary that it was gonna collapse on us.

Bama history at Legion Field.

Who did Bama play in their last game ever played at Legion Field?

Answer...in 2003...Bama opened up the season vs South Florida. That was the last time Bama played at historic Legion Field.

PS. Yes, the Iron Bowl use to be held there every year...plus 1 or 2 other Bama Games...as Legion Field was the largest Stadium in the State.

It wasn't that long ago (1988)...that Bryant-Denny Stadium only held 60,000......it now seats 92,000 with a boatload of suites, club seats, etc...

with all the red in that picture, it's obviously an Alabama game...

I haven't been watching the UAB game much tonight... but it looks like the seats are just bench seating... a lot of fans are disguised as empty seats tonight.

Sounds a lot like that piece o'shirt stadium UCF sleepwalks in.........

The citrus bowl is nicer than legion field believe it or not.

The Citrus Bowl is nicer than legion field believe it or not.......and the Orange Bowl too!!! But that might be about it. (Maybe better than the Old Cotton Bowl and Rice Stadium too).

Come on guys, drinking so early!!??! Are you sure?? Even when you factor in that beautiful, urban, concrete ambience of the "plaza" leading up to the Citrus Bowl?

It was an extremely outside chance of me making this game with a newborn that would have been just about 2 months old. But with it being the 23rd ... no chance now.

Go BULLS !!!
