Not what I would call "most of their games".

uhh, do you see that little @ symbol?  Those are away games, but of course you know that.  Thanks for the information, as you have proved my point.  Big time program scheduling most of their games at night.

Big time programs do not have that much power to "schedule" their games.  For example, the Mississippi State game was syndicated on Raycom (Lincoln Financial) -- which means that network dictated the game time.  Since they play all of their attractive SEC teams on the road, those games are not on TV.

In fact, only their 7:00pm home games are 'scheduled' because they were not changed by TV networks.  Their Arizona State game (ESPN2) and Fresno State game (ESPN) were set by TV.

So, by listing the schedule I did not actually prove your point. Quite the opposite.  Big time programs do not have the power to schedule their games.  They are always at the whim of television networks.

LSU plays Mississippi State at 11:30 every year, forget what exactly it's called, but they've done it for awhile now. It has nothing to do with TV.

However, no "big time" program has control over their schedule, most play when they are asked to because of TV.

MOST Big 10 games are at noon, including 4 of the 6 games this week.

4 of the 6 Big 12 games are before 2:30 local time this week.

Further, most don't know when they are playing their games until 10 days before the schedule. Quit crying, and show or don't show. I understand that some have kids activities, etc and they do take priority, if you can't make it sorry.

This is a stupid argument.  Let's look at this Saturday's games:

12:00 PM  Ball State at #2 Michigan

12:00 PM  Penn State at #17 Wisconsin

12:00 PM  Maryland at #19 Clemson

12:00 PM  Virginia at Florida State

12:00 PM  Pittsburgh at South Florida

12:00 PM  Indiana at Minnesota

12:00 PM  Missouri at Nebraska

12:00 PM  Baylor at Texas Tech

12:10 PM  Northwestern at Iowa

12:30 PM  #7 Florida at Vanderbilt

12:30 PM  Mississippi State at Alabama

Next Saturday's games:

12:00 PM  Cincinnati at #3 West Virginia

12:00 PM  #17 Wisconsin at Iowa

12:00 PM  North Carolina State at #19 Clemson

12:00 PM  #20 Georgia Tech at North Carolina

12:00 PM  Syracuse at South Florida

12:00 PM  Minnesota at Michigan State

12:00 PM  Purdue at Illinois

And there's still a number of games where the time hasn't been set yet.

at least you know what time the games are now, most programs don't even know when the games will be until the week of the game

Why do some of you think that we won't draw 30,000 plus for either of the last 2 home games? Unless the students don't show up this weekend there should be a good crowd there.

Because I've been to all of the other noon kickoff games in our history and the turnout is atrocious. Unless all the fans came dressed as red seats I didn't see many people there.

I'd be interested to see attendance figures from noon kickoff games of the past.

I too have been to every home game.  As others have said the attendance is atrocious.  Our last home game with Pitt was at 11 and there were more Pitt fans in the stands near us and WE WERE on the east side of the field.

Maybe having a bit more media coverage would help us especially with these early games.  If I'm not mistaken our game wasn't even listed in the Times on Monday- FSU, UF, BCC to name a few were, but we were not.
