I dont take this kind of stuff too personal.  St. Josephs is still called St. josephs (PA) and St Johns is still shown as St. johns (NY) because there are other schools with the same names and initials and those 2 schools have been around long before us.  who cares.  

i mean the best athlete to ever go to USF is still Bill Russell (University of San Fransisco)

I really think it's a matter of what takes the least amount of time to say. Georgia is a lot quicker than UGA, unlike say University of South Florida. Who wants to waste their breath. Sure San Fran is USF, but when was the last time they were good at anything? Dodd is an ass, and he's just upset that his sleeper Big East team isn't living up to expectations.
