I brought this very subject up a few weeks ago. Mentioning especially the LB's not having sacks because of the blitzing.Directly after a OOC Win on the road ... try to celebrate some frst before your posts. You may have a better time posting on our opponents board each week ;D

Last I remember, he plays LB. So that would be a blitz.

Why on earth would you need to blitz more today?

A team having an idea of which one is coming can easily be the difference between a 50+ yard play and a sack. Besides, you don't have to blitz if you can get enough pressure without it. No matter what, assignment football is best. If you can't play the players in assignments, you pull off on the exotic calls.A good example is the new york giants, who lost a game this season while blitzing a lot, simplified their scheme, and beat the redskins the next week 19-3 with minimal blitzes. I'd actually like the giants, redskins, and cowboys to lose as much as possible though.I'd wonder more about the missed tackles, but it was a good game overall. We got a road win, and more than covered the spread to boot.

I saw St Louis blitz today and the RB release out to the flats and beat us for some nice yardage because our safety didn't read the play.Lot's of youth at safety and I'm sure it's limiting our ability to blitz more.
