Why is the Cincinnati game on a Sunday?  I thought there was a rule about Sundays when the NFL is on.

Now that NBC has sunday night games that rule no longer applies. Its ESPN cutting into NBC's piece of the pie

I am not use to watching Sunday night college football. I was channel surfing, and I noticed the NIU vs Miami(Ohio) game. That NIU running back is pretty **** good.

You mean you're just now realizing it's on a Sunday??

There was a lot of discussion here about moving the game... about ESPN starting Sunday Night football after their baseball games were over... about the fact that the only competition is one NFL game and Desperate Housewives...

Other than having to stay up a bit late on before a work-day... what is the big deal??

Actually it is an excellent spot for USF.  There are no NFL games that night because of the World Series so the football fan will tune in.
