Bulls bits: Quarterback Matt Grothe was held out of practice for the second straight day with a boot on his right foot. He hopes to get the boot off today and return to practice. Leavitt added that he wants to be "real sure he's okay" before Grothe returns to practice.

Most def, that is the worst thing that could happen to the team, school, & fans. Matt being out would be really bad but Pat starting would be alot worse.

When you run your QB up the middle every other play you run that risk.  We better see about half the designed Qb runs now that Ponton is back and Williams seems to be gaining some confidence.

Really hope Voss is the real deal because he appears to be the only solid Qb recruit we have coming in.

I have faith in Pat. He is not Grothe but our recievers are doing a better job this year compared to last, and Pat has been there before and is capable of leading this team. With that being said, Matt will be back and starting for this weeks game.

Prove the numbers to back up that statement. I honestly do not understand how you can sit there and say he is capable of leading this team, he never has and his athletic ability (or lack of) will not allow him to in the future.

***For those out there who get defensive when players are being criticized, I am only criticizing his play not him as a person.

Agree 100% ... hope to see GrothE's numbe of runs drop to about 10 designed.

Actually only QB we have coming in ... but it's still early.

Go BULLS !!!
