Guest BasketBull.
Ricky Ponton, Josh Julmiste and Kackie Chambers will all help to improve the team. That win over UConn shows that we can be a decent team, especially if there's a running game. How do you see the second half of the season going? Can we pick up two more wins to get a bowl? @North Carolina @Cincinnati  Pittsburgh  Syracuse @Louisville @West Virginia

Bishop of Bulltown Posted October 9, 2006 Group: Member Topic Count: 39 Content Count: 618 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 11/24/2003 Share Posted October 9, 2006 I think we'll win 3 out of the next four, lose to Louisville, and barely lose to WVU finishing at 7-5 with hopefully the birmingham bowl against the gnats again. Guest JulmisteForPrez
Here's the way I'm going to predict it shaping up... @North Carolina W @Cincinnati W Pittsburgh L Syracuse W @Louisville L @West Virginia L If I am right about these remaining games, my pre-season prediction of 7-5 will be dead on. But hey....I hope I'm wrong about at least one or two of those losses!!

We could easily be 6-0, but we could also easily be 1-5. How often can you say that? Says a lot about the lack of consistency.

I think he will be a little rusty this weekend, but believe we can go 3-0 this month to bring our record to 6-2 (2-1).  I think that Syracuse is not the door mat it used to be and hopefully since that game is the last home game, senior Night and all that, we will win, but I am not as confident as the rest of you. I hope the emotion of Homecoming helps us beat Pitt.  If we can't stop Palko, we are in trouble.  7 wins, maybe an upset along the way gets us 8, and we are bowling again.
