Here is the Big East In the Cross Hairs:

No. 8 Louisville 49, @Middle Tennessee State 7 - The 'Ville gets the ink for its offense, but it has given up only 13 points in the last three games and is fifth in the nation against the run.  

Pitt 26, @ Syracuse 10 - The Orange pass defense will have no answers for Tyler Palko.

@South Florida 24, UConn 10 - Expect lots of out-of-the-pocket running from Bulls QB Matt Grothe as USF should gets its running game untracked.

@Cincinnati 21, Akron 17 - Dustin Grutza's seven interceptions are a concern for the Bearcats.

I think the Navy beat down, has really hurt UCONN as far as predictions go.

I think the Navy beat down, has really hurt UCONN as far as predictions go.

It's also skewed UCONN's pass defensive statistics/ranking too.  No reason to pass if you can run at will...right?  If we had Ponton this game I would be less edgy (I'm always edgy on game day & for must win games.) .
