For the southeast Hillsborough County / Manatee County alumni and fans:

There is a new Beef'O'Brady's in Summerfield, 1 mile east of I-75 exit 246 (Big Bend Rd.).  The manager/owner, Fred, said he will make sure to have the Bulls game on as he's done thus far for the first three games.  I'm going to ask to see if I can reserve the party room for this game.

BTW, when you do visit, check out behind the bar because for everyone to see there is a framed Herd of Thunder poster!

As always, GO BULLS!!!

How about the Chili's of Fowler? Is there a good contingent of students there? I am all about the 2 for 1!

I'm glad you asked.  Here are all the official watch parties but feel free to start your own if you don't live in one of these areas.

Clubhouse Sports Cafe on Fowler Ave. (Temple Terrace)

Lee Roy Selmon's Restaurant on Boy Scout (Tampa)

Capogna's Dugout on SR 60 (Clearwater)

Lee Roy Selmon's Restaurant at Tyrone Square Mall (St. Pete)

Lee Roy Selmon's Restaurant on Cortez (Bradenton)

Please frequent these places and let them know you appreciate them making the Bulls the team to watch at their establishment.  Go Bulls!

Eric

These are a lot of fun.  The Bull Backers attend the Capogna's party hosted by the Pinellas County Alumni Chapter -- but ALL of the watch parties are great places to cheer on the bulls with other Bull fans...

The official "Bulls Club" watch parties also have give-aways and other prizes courtesy of USF.

If you live near one of these parties, then GO!  Much, much more fun than sitting at home - no matter the size of your TV.

What time does the watch party start in Clearwater, and what time should we plan to be there? Is it very crowded? Thanks!

We do have a watch party in Bradenton at LRS on Cortez.  We've tried putting one together at Barnacles in the past and they have been poorly attended.  But the bigger issue is needing someone there to organize and give away the prizes, poms, etc.  No problem with anyone going to another location and demanding our game be put on (Barnacles has enough tv's they could have every game on, besides, they are supporters of USF and will have it on anyway I'm sure).

I'd try and get to most watch parties 1/2 hour or so before the game.  Capogna's might be a different story with all the Bull Backers going, you might need to get there on Friday.

This was posted on the Bull Backers board...

I will have Mutt post something later this week, but we normally get there about an hour and half early to set up and people start arriving 30-45 minutes before the game.

Yes, My dear husband Mutt is supposed to post something today about Capogna's.  I'll call him and remind him.  We do get there early to put up decorations, banners, etc.  I would get there at least 30 minutes early to get a good seat, but really there is no bad seat because both big screens and all the small TVs around us have it on.  Last year's last watch party had 73 people so it does get crowded!  Looking forward to seeing everyone there!!!!
