I've been reading left and right, on this board and beyond, how The Bull has truly arrived as a USF tradition. That being said, how about when throwing the Go Bulls sign, give it a twist/fist pump--kind of a mini-version of what's done during The Bull? It both pays homage to one of our traditions and--at least in person and on video (it can't  be helped in still photos)--helps differentiate it from the Hook 'Em Horns that it resembles. Just a thought...

It's too late to change now, but last year I was thinking...............close both fists, put them together thumb to thumb, raise both pinkies.

No other team does it. a) because it's stupid or B) because shoop is a genius.

YOU MAKE THE CALL!

Serious question, what is the difference between bull sign and Texas hook em horns sign.  If it's the same, should we be copying the hook em horns sign.

There is no difference--we essentially just took the hook 'em horns wholesale. That's why I'd love to see something that distinguishes between the two.

I've seen that done for folks using the same sign for metal, to symbolize "too much metal for one hand!" I've seen another variation with the two hands you describe put on the outside of two closed fists of another person--"too much metal for one man!"

Doesn't matter...there's a finite number of hand gestures available.

I don't think anyone's going to confuse USF with Tejas any time in foreseeable future.

Besides, it's ingrained...live with it.

Definitely ingrained, which is why I didn't suggest changing the sign--just setting it in motion.
