Numbers for UCF Game?

I am in a group of two buses with a bunch of alum and casual fans.  One bus bought through USF, the other through ticket master.  The ticket master group bought 15 tickets.  All total 26 fans.

I assumed we had an allocation.... but what about the USF Athletic website sending you to ticketmaster?

I think 4,000 at this point, hoping we bought 800 tix through Ticketmaster.

We returned out allocation, so the site is sending you to the other place to get tix for the game

And though USF today will return to UCF a decent chunk of its allotment of 5,000 tickets

I went by whatever the boxscore reported. Maybe it was less... maybe it wasn't. I didn't count that's for sure.

I also heard that if you buy them AT the Sundome or Marshall Center they count for USF???  Online for UCF?

Crowd expected to exceed 42,000

USF is expected to return more than half of its 5,000-ticket allotment for Saturday's game against UCF. As of Tuesday, USF had sold just under 2,000 of its allotted tickets.

UCF Assistant Athletic Director David Chambers said the contract agreement between the school gives the visitor 5,000 tickets apiece for the games in 2005 and 2006. Chambers said UCF expects a crowd of between 42,000 and 45,000, based on current sales.

Last season's game in Tampa had an announced crowd of 45,139, and UCF officials are hoping to bring in at least that many to the Citrus Bowl on Saturday. Excluding the Conference USA title game crowd of 51,978 last season, UCF's next-largest home crowd was 32,635 against Houston.

Shuttle service

Parking for the game has been sold out, and officials are urging fans to use a shuttle to get to the stadium.

There will be shuttle transportation to and from the Citrus Bowl from the South parking lot (Lot No. 1/Orange) at TD Waterhouse Centre for $5 per vehicle. Service begins at 10 a.m. for the 2:30 p.m. game and ends 90 minutes after the end of the game.
