I'm with you.

I think the current decal looks CHEAP. The black doesn't go with ANYTHING in the uniform, and it's too small... and almost looks crooked.

Okay, I'm sure this has been addressed before here at TheBullsPen.com, but I want to know more about this.

First of all, do we know whose call it was to take the beautiful green helmet decal & facemask and make them black, evoking the putrid gold and black of our buddies over in Orlando?  Who made that call?

Secondly, who do we have to petition to get our actual TEAM COLOR back on the helmet?

I remember at the start of last season that the guy who writes for Page 2 on ESPN.com complimented us on our nice new jerseys, but questioned the wisdom of changing the nice green on gold helmet to black on gold.

What can we do???

i prefer the black logo on the helmet, as for jerseys...

For ANYONE who likes the black logo, answer me this:

Why is the logo black? and why should the logo be black?

When I get a suitable answer for those questions, I'll see your point of view. Until then, you're wrong.

The ONLY place that you find a logo that looks like the helmet logo..........is on the helmet. Not other USF teams. Not on campus. Not on the internet, on signage, or on tv. Not on merchandise. Not on ANYTHING.

Why in the HELL is the color wrong, on THE singlemost recognizable thing for the university, the football helmet?
