my buddy called someone in the Bulls Club and they quoted him that we have only sold 1500 tickets so far.  If that is accurate, then that is a major dissappointment.  UCF brought so many people last year and if we show up with less than at least 3k, it is just pure imbarrassement.

MikeG, 100 percent did not come from a UCF fan.  I'm just saying what the member of the Bulls Club quoted my friend earlier this afternoon on the phone.

The ticket master sale is probably pretty high, the casual fan probably wouldn't know to go through USF....(I hope this is the case)

The thing is...this bulletin board is not the official etched-in-stone communicaitons method for USF. It could well be that something like that was in the works, and the other very real possibility is that it was a rumor that took root.

I'd look for something from the university (officially) or a post from Eric Soncrant before I focused on $5.00 tix. I think there's also some SBC folks who hit this board as well.

I'm going tomorrow to buy a student companion ticket for the FIU game...I'll ask about it while I'm there.  Doubt someone working in the box office would know off hand, but, couldn't hurt.

If we bring anything less than 7500 fans to this game, it is a major disappointment.  I don't know what the heck is wrong with the fanbase, but they need to start steppin up.
