I don't see any game the BULLS play as meaningless.

Seriously.  If it is so meaningless don't even turn your TV on that day.

I'll tell you when it will have meaning.  When the Bulls lose.  Amazingly the game that had "no meaning" is now the catalyst for a mass suicide watch.

I almost want to see them lay an egg just to see how much of that egg ends up on people's faces. :-)

If you want to be a big time football program, you travel like one.  Especially when the game is 60 miles away.

You can make the EXCUSE of this game not being important, but at the end of the day FSU, UF, Georgia and Tennessee would have packed the Citrus Bowl to see their team play UCF.  It wouldn't be a big game for them, but they are big time BCS programs.

Two weeks until showtime.  We'll see what happens.

It bears repeating - encourage friends not to just walk up or they may not get in.  The bottom bowls only account for something like 42K seats.  We could EASILY hit that mark and without advanced planning, the upper deck will not be open and folks will end up being turned away.  It's not as simple as cutting a ribbon into the upper deck!

I dont see how people arent amped for the UCF game.  This is a team we pretty much just put a beat down on last year and is 1/2 a season removed form and almost 20 game losing streak and is still for some reason seen as the premier "program on the rise" in our state.  ESPN respects their program way more than ours for some reason i can't comprehend (other than ESPN's hard on for everything Notre Dame ie O'leary).  Not to mention the big heads their fans have now because of this attention.  Seriously how could you not want to go to that game when we go over there and kick their head in and end their lil ESPN inspired fantasy.  In about 10-20 years when both programs reach maturity the same alumni who scoff at this game will be the same ones struggling for tickets like the rest of us.

I don't know about anyone else, but the USF ice hockey team will be present (33 people) wearing GREEN USF hockey shirts to help support the football team. Come look for our bus and join our tailgate!!!!

Where will you all be tailgating? The hockey team would be the perfect ones to hang out with going over there to this game. Only ones better would be a USF SWAT team ...

That is true. It is also true that, for a lot of those fans, that's the only way they're gonna see their team play. Those are big time programs with premium access (season tickets, donor factors, etc.). USF does not have that sort of limited access to contend with. You can walk-up to RayJ minutes before the game and get tickets.

Bottom Line: Attendance at this game makes a statement on several levels, the biggest statement being how much this game really is valued by the paying fans, not just the board rats.  USF doesn't travel "well" to beging with, but couple that with the close proximity of this game and, with actions speaking louder than words, we'll see just how much of a "rivalry" this really is.
