Probably the inagural game. I wonder how did we lose about 19,000 fans since then. That's a lot of people that walked away after that first game. According to the data I have, the attendance has been increasing on average by 343 people per game. Not a huge number, but it's going up.Can anyone can tell me where to find attendance data farther back than 2002...?

I just can't buy the "just win baby" cliche because there's gotta be more to the story than that. How do you see the birth of a program and later walk away from it. How can you show up for a Kentucky Wesleyan game but not for a game against highly ranked teams.

Most wanted just to be able to say they were at the first game. I remember thinking there are a lot of people here with no afiliation to USF. Wonder how long they will be around? Anyway, 32,500 for a Friday nite game was pretty good. Not great, but good. If USF was highly touted or this was on Sat Nite, I'd of expected close to 39-40K. The 32.5K might actually be more than what shows up for H'coming at noon.
