Okay ... looking at a 6 game suspension for each:

Ponton - The loss of depth and experience will hurt. Just hoping that the others are strong and that Plancher can carry the bulk for the first 6 games. This will also allow Ponton time to heal the injury and be fresh for the remaining 6 games.

Chambers - This is actually less of a loss with the depth we have a WR. Biggest area may be the return game. But feel good with the other we have. And again, we wil have a first talented body for the last 6 games.

Julmiste - The BIGGEST loss of the 3. This will really test the reserves here.

REALLY glad we have these first 2 games to get these positions in shape.

Go BULLS !!!

I agree with ET, the first 2 losses aren't that big IF MP and the rest of the recievers step it up and are as good as we have been told.  J. Julmiste could be a huge loss.  If they only miss 2 games instead of 6, we should be able to get by ok due to our schedule.

If the rumors are true Josh and Jackie were to get 2 games, and Ponton 4-6.  We shall see.

If it's only two for the first two guys that is fine.  It will give the back-ups at their positions some quality experience and learning.

this is not good

josh j was a preseason all big east selection

if they miss a month or more they wont figure into team plans since their bACK ups have taken their place

if i wer ecoach i would amp up anti drug program

there is obviouly a problem when your better players  are getting suspended

the positive test is a symptom of a more serious problem

...

josh j was a preseason all big east selection

...

:question  [smiley=smiley_up.gif]

The article said 3 starters ... we know that it's not a big drop off at WR ... JJ had promise, but hadn't started, but he stil his the biggest lose due to depth ... Ponton may be the biggest loss regarding starting power because of what he has done last season, but the Plancher talk was very good last year.

Ready for them Cowboys !!!

I would had much rather have heard that they were suspended for team rules violations and not get their names tied in to drug suspensions. Thats how most schools do it.
