I've see Coach leavitt shake hands after games.  Would like to know which idiot coach made that remark.

I think they mean before games... CJL is not the 'social' kind of coach... he's intense, focused on the game.

Heck, I'd be surprised if he wasn't watching game tape on a portable DVD player on the bus over to the stadium.... the man watches more film than any coach anywhere.

i dont think it was a coach that made the remark...i think it was a reporter.  

As if that didn't hit hard enough, they have a feature with a bunch of "observations," supposedly given by unnamed Big East coaches. Here's what they say about Leavitt:

"Their coach (Jim Leavitt) is a different duck. He runs sprints with the players in pregame and won't shake your hand and won't talk to you. He has this whole "we're gonna kick your ass" thing going. He's freaking crazy. . . . "

yeah, so.....

funny, didn't i see a picture of Gruden running sprints with his team last week, or was it him taking a punch when he blitzed the QB in a full-contact drill.....

Almost fell on the floor laffin' when I read this.  F'n awesome quote.  One of the reasons I luv our team's head coach.  People are just a little scared of crazy people.  It's good to keep 'em guessin'.  Jim has a PHD in pyche I believe doesn't he?  He seems to enjoy a good mind f_ _k.
