If the B-Herd is any indication about 1/3 of capacity.  :'(

Why do you say that?

I am thinking about 25K to 30k for announced attendence.  MTSU had 20K for a thursday night game against FIU, so I hope we can at least do better than that.

My tailgating crew is HORRIBLY represented. Weekend plans, rain or whatever it is there will be less than a third at the game.

It's not, last I checked NOAA 60-70% chance from morning till 2, 30-50% from 2 until 9 (getting less as day goes) and less than 30% after 9.

The big donor seats on the east side looked less than 1/2 full.  This drives me crazy just like that section at the dome behind the visiting team.  The TV cameras and the main home crowd (west side) are looking right at the those sections that get all the no shows.  Not sure what can be done about it if anything - just a shame.  Probably the same corporate supporters that have gator seats also.

However, kudos to the student section...jam packed and loud. It was great to see such a huge turnout for this game.  And it was great to walk out via the student section after the game...lots of Go Bulls chanting...very loud. Great job by the student section. Really impressive.

As for the 'donor' seating...actually more than I expected. It's a IAA game, so that's always an issue.

What amazed me, given the nature of the game, was the number of people who scrammed when it was 21-10. Given our play up to that point, this was still not in the bag. Then there was another mass exodus with about five minutes still on the clock.

The more I think about it, the more I fail to grasp the reason for leaving early. I just can't get my arms around that.  Then again...I sit in a section where, just being honest here, there's a lot of guys watching the game and a lot wives/girlfriends yammering and passing babies back and forth, so it could be that for pop to go to the game, he's on the hook to bring mom and the youngin', and when it gets past nite-nite time.... ::)

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
