Is catch 47 a cable sports channel?  I don't know I'm a devout Direct Tv subscriber.

Yeah isn't ironic, alot of the USF athletic events are on Catch 47, but yet the on-campus cable doesn't carry the station.

failure to show all games has prevented usf from capturing hearts and minds of children and their families

I fully agree, USF does not get enough coverage and the fan base is really limited. When I tell someone I go to USF, they ask me how I like it in Miami ::). Also, the newspaper in Jacksonville hardly says anything about USF, first come the Gators, then the SEC, then FSU and if we did something very good, then USF. The only way to get more coverage is to WIN.

Considering Jacksonville is 40 miles from Gainesville does that shock you?

USF is getting 10 times the coverage it did 4 years ago. More will come over the years.

I laughed out loud when I read that, then I was shocked when Yahoo told me it was only 71.1 miles. Get the @#$%^ out. Man it seems like it takes forever to drive through that . . . . well that speed trap ridden, cow pasture smelling part of the state.

Yeah I realize that they are more likely to cover UF more then USF, but here's two really bad examples.

USF upsets Louisvilee ;D, only 1/2 paragraph in the "state schools" category. Same paragraph as UCF's win.

More recently in the softball, UF loses and they write 7 paragraphs about their lose, while USF gets 1 sentence about making it to the final game. Once UF was eliminated, and USF was the only Florida school left, the only coverage was a box score.

I'm sorry if I'm venting my anger, but I love my Bulls.
