Seth is my man Steve... at least he was .500 and better. Look at the medocrity we're stuck in now. But we have had another great recruiting year (we'll see).

It will be interesting to see what happens now that Leavitt is down to only one of his original loyal assistants. Coach K leaving is a huge disappointment. That defense played for him. He treated players with respect, as humans... with that not there... when Leavitt starts getting under their skin... will the players revolt? It has happened before... One player came back and was asked to give the after practice rah-rah speech... he cursed Leavitt out. Talk about Leavitt getting caught with his pants down. Hell... I want Leavitt to win because he is a great motivator... but you have to acknowledge people that give it their all for you. Show them some respect. Those players love USF as much as Leavitt, or us... He doesn't have to soften up any... he just needs to be real with them. No one wants to get backed door by the head coach. Which team will show up this season? The questions remain.

i dont suppose this is based on any objective facts

similar to your view that hall should have been drafted

PITT WILL PUT A WHOOPING ON USF AGAIN

SINCE 2001 PITT HAS PROGRESSED AND USF HAS REGRESSED

WHY IS THAT?

DAVE WANNSTED IS A MUCH BETTER COACH,RECRUITER,MOTIVATOR THAN LEAVITT

You are so wrong on Pitt in 2004 they were co Big East champs then Dave came and they lost 6 games how is that for progression.

wah, wah wah...

Everything is a mistake in your eyes smazza.  Some may feel the same as you, or close, but you're about the only one that needs to ***** about anything and everything related to USF Football.

And without a doubt, your trusty Sheriff will ride up with an anti-Leavitt spin too.

It's nice to have differing viewpoints, but really, to complain about a homecoming game?  That's even a little low for you.

Anti-Leavitt spin... I'll give you some anti-spin Brad!  ;D

By the way... went to Cinco de Mayo last night in Tempe and met the daughter of a very influential former Devil Ray that was in their management. It was good seeing some Tampa people out here... got to kick it with her for awhile and the girl was all about sports. I thought I was in heaven... and she paid for the second round. Life couldn't have gotten much better last night.

Put it in the book right now, USF beats Pitt in an offensive shoot out on homecoming. Of course I may be am still drunk from the Cinco De Mayo party I had last night.

cinco de mayo... yeah baby... leave it to mexico to get excited about beating the french... americans just take that for granted...

Date is the reason. Jim hit it spot on--in addition to the fact that it'd be near impossible to plan a decent week of Homecoming by 10/7. not everyone gets cupcakes for homecoming.

they do if they schedule them!
