Their fans remind me of our fans, a lot.  They have no idea or care about  basketball until they win.  They have probably the best recruiting coach in the nation and one of the most charasmatic guys you will ever meet.

We still have no idea what basketball is here because we never win.  So we throw it on the back burner, make excuses, throw in any coach who will take the job and hope for the best.  Props to the gators, who by the way, Mr Herman Momart had in his final game of his bracket.  For you haters, to make you feel better, I had them losing to Kansas.

We had an oportunity to become THE basketball powerhouse in the state in the early 90's and we blew it.  We were better than any other Florida team at that time and had great attendance.

Im happy for Donovan because I know some UF fans were getting fed up with the Gators losing in the second round. Anyway, you have to admire on how good they played in both the SEC and NCAA tourny. The only team that gave UF a scare was Georgetown during the NCAA. Villanova could not make the outside shots that would have made it a closer game, but UF's defense was too good this time around. You have to give credit to Donovan on this one.  What is sad as a USF fan is that we are so far away from even making the big dance. That is what depresses me to this day.
