I mean, he only has experience by default because we've nobody better to put in. Of all our QBs he might be the worst of the athletes. Please coach, anyone but PJ or Bullfreak will have some company for his jump.

I agree though, his strengths a s a D1A QB are not solid. I saw where he went like 9-10 in the scrimmage. If either of the other two had done that we'de be touting them for heisman. We saw flashes of them in the Cincy game, when he broke that ~50 yd run off.PJ may be a serviceable backup, but I'd rather take my lumps with Hill learning the position as a sophmore and have 3 years to start than sit thru a similarly bad season with PJ at the helm and Hill learning nothing. Pat will be the starting QB by game 3. While he had tough spots last year his improvement from year 2 to year 3 was dramatic.<< I can think of nothing that could be said that would give more comfort and aid to the enemy. They will all be starting their second strings against us if that is the case.Grothe is going to outshine the others to the extent that it will be too obvious to keep him out. With two threats (Grothe and Ponton) we will excel.
