In the email, I expressed that I felt the green on green uniforms were too dark, and seemed out of place for a team from Sunny Tampa. I asked that they consider getting some different bottoms (Im not to fond of the plain white ones either...would prefer white or gold with green strip on side).

My argument for this is that alot of fans aren't crazy about the green on green.  It seems like such a superficial thing...but I ask everyone to consider what happened to sales when they changed the USF logo from "the goat" to the Iconic U.  Students these days are very conscious of the image their school projects.  I could almost guarantee that, if you came up with a sleek uniform design that was well received by the general fan base, attendance would improve almost overnight.  

The bottom line: USF needs to continue refining its image to take it to the next level.

In the interest of full disclosure, I also offered to personally finance/fundraise the changes if they would consider such a move. So saying "why dont you pay for it" (same argument used to beat down OCS supporters) won't work....because I WILL pay for it.

We'll see if I hear anything back I guess!

green/green is fine with me

gold/gold would be nice also

i wouldnt spend a whole lot of time or money on this simple issue

putting fun,exciting and winning product on field is what needs to be done

tampa have embraced bulls by now

window is closing and usf isnt any closer to catching wv,pitt and ul

Green on Green is GREAT... Don't change! JMHO....

The seniors are the ones who decide which uniforms they wear for the games and so far we have not heard the players complaining.  Do you really have that much money or is this just an April Fools joke?!?!

No joke..I really sent the email.

I'm not saying green on green is gawd awful or anything.  If USF never changed that would be fine.

It's just that IN MY OPINION (and based on the opinions of MANY folks I've talked to at school/work, etc) the uniform needs updating.

I doubt I could fund the change entirely by myself, hence the part about fundraising.  I'm an activist by nature, I've got no problems pounding the pavement.

If you like the green on green, then feel free to email/call the athletic department and state your opinion.  But I will continue to work towards what I view would be an improvement of the team's image ...and hence, the university's image too.

Truthfully, I'm REALLY fond of the white tops/green bottoms combo.  I wish THAT could be our home uniform....doesn't LSU use the white tops as their home uni's as well? (So its not like theres no precedent.)

Leavitt hates change...he wont do it...everything goes through him first...Plus our unis look great even if they arent Nike, stay the same...
