USF MBB Wraps Up Season Versus No. 20 Georgetown

The University of South Florida men’s basketball team (6-22, 0-15 BIG EAST) has one more shot to claim its first-ever BIG EAST Conference victory in 2005-06 when the squad hosts No. 20/20 Georgetown Saturday night at the Sun Dome in the season finale.  

The Bulls have dropped 17 consecutive games, including all 15 in league action.  Nine of those setback have been decided by seven-or-fewer points.  

Prior to the matchup with the Hoyas, the Bulls will honor the two members of its senior class, guard James Holmes and center Solomon Jones.  Team manager Richard Edwards will also be recognized.  

Georgetown defeated the Bulls 50-47 on Jan. 17 at the MCI Center in the first meeting of the year between the two teams

We have to play well in the first and final 10 minutes of the game. If we're close in both, then we will win.

#20 Georgetown Falls at the Dome to end a very challenging season.
