I saw that USF had a float in the parade for the first time ever. The parade has been around twice as long as the U. This is the type of marketing USF needs to do to create a buzz. I just wish it did not take 50 years to happen. I hope they will also be in night parade and many others.

USF also had a float in the Lakeland X-mas Parade.

Hey the Chasco Fiesta is a pretty big deal up here,  it happens next month and draws thousands, beads and the whole nine yards....   Do you want to put a float in it?  If not this year how about next...  It draws a pretty large crowd in fact Doug howery and our families were there last year when some lunatic handcuffed himself to the road right in front of us...  He was protesting Native American angle...  Just a thought..

building a dominating football team that plays in bcs game will give usf more recognition than a float

even a championship basketball or baseball team would do the trick

making usf football family friendly would do more than a usf float twice a year

Yep, I was also excited to see the USF float in this year's Gasparilla Parade.  I'm not sure who it was run by.  From where I was, I couldn't see any markings from Alumni or SGA.  My next question is why doesn't the H.O.T. march in this thing?

The more USF markets itself the better off the Tampa Bay area will respond to the University and what it hopes to accomplish.
