I know this is OT but this forum gets a buttload more traffic than the others.

Anyway, I need a place to watch the games tonight. If I have options, the closer to campus the better (I've been staying at the Embassy Suites on campus the past few days)..

If any of you guys happen to be there and want to say hi to a new Bull, that's cool too. I just want to know the most happening place to watch the games tonight :-)

Although it's way across town, Champions Bar at the Marriott Westshore gets a very nice crowd.

Barnacle's in Brandon. They have over 200 hundred small TVs, and around 13 Big Screen TVs. You can watch the game from any seat in the house.

Take I-75 south and get off on the Brandon Exit, make a left towards the mall. Is in the street that runs behind the mall.

926 Providence Rd,

Brandon, FL 33511

I don't know of any place loaded with TV's in tampa, but there is a place on dale mabry that is fairly small, has excellent food and about 7 Big Screen TV's set on difffenent channels, and have the audio boxes on each table so you can tune into one particular bigscreen of your choice.

Its called PrimeTime Grill, between fletcher and bearss on Dale Mabry south bound, next to the Tampa Pitcher Show.

That use to be one of the original Sports Bars in Tampa. Then it became just a "smoke" fest in the mid-late 90's...but if its still open..especially now that people can't "smoke" in restaurants...the "older" feel to it is pretty cool.

It's on Dale Mabrey...south of the Interstate by a few blocks.

There are tons of sports bars, but sometimes it's all about what you are watching.

Champions in the Marriott Westshore, and Waterside are fun to watch a game.  The Press Box for its dark, dirty, and dingy setting is perfect for a good game.  Winners Pubs are great, and certain Beef O Brady's are perfect, especially the one by USF.  Of course the Hooters across from USF, albeit is awful at televising sports, is a great place to kick off before a USF basketball game.

P.S.  for those not in the know, the apartment complex that houses the Greenery is going to be torn down to be rebuilt by a major apartment builder for something nicer and classier.  They will revamp the store front with the Greenery to make it a first class center and the center piece of the new complex.  They want to help the Greenery improve a bit as well.
