would you feel differently had he been at USF 4 yrs?

i posed a question never said i was for or against it smazz

maybe retiring a jersey vs a number

just read dunn's jersey has been retired and is displayed with the retired numbers but others can still wear his number.

maybe this is something we could consider for some of our pioneer players?

Maybe Hall's jersey will be retired after a stellar career in the pros? ::keeps fingers crossed::

my office is turning into the babies room so I am moving the the bulls office into one of the guest bedrooms so maybe I'll start my own wall of fame and Andre will be the first player----------------- after the original 14

chitown posts-maybe one day #2 will be a retired jersey

I HOPE NOT

WE SHOULD RETIRE NUMBERS OF PLAYERS  THAT ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING TRULY SPECIAL

HALL DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO WARRANT SUCH AN HONOR

CHITOWN-YOU NEED TO SET YOUR SIGHTS  HA BIT HIGHER

This is college ball, all about the team.  A player's number should never be retired.

I can't believe I actually agree with something Smazza says, no his number should not be retired, yes I might have thought differently if he had been here for four years but he wasn't. What he did here was special to us but in the grand scheme of retired NCAA jersey's his was not a blip on the radar screen.

I too got to meet Mr. Hall, actually first person in Tampa to interview him when I was working for southfloridabulls.com. Very nice guy, well spoken and I wish him the best. Thanks Andre!

you dont retire too many college football jerseys.    you usually only retire jerseys of Heismans or National Title game MVPs at best.

.

I said the same thing when everyone was yelling to get Dobras jersey retired.  Yeah he was good, but compared to what?

USF athletics has yet to truely see it's best days.   We go retiring all these jerseys now, then where do we hang the "Final Four MVP's" or the "Rose Bowl's MVP" or etc, etc?

i see nothing wrong with retiring some of the jerseys of the pioneer players. it is an honor but yet does not retire the number.

I believe that's what was done with some of the basketball players, wasn't it?
