Specifically what is your beef w/the site?  It doesn't appear to be overly insufficient.  My biggest complaint is it could be kept more current.

I agree I like the current site.

Curious to the new site though.

Go BULLS !!!

As one 'for instance' on the current site, just pretend that you are a recruit and want to check out USFs athletic facilities, weight room, etc.

Impressive, huh?

Here is a blurb about XOS Network and lists some of the other athletic sites that they provide sites for if you want to get an idea of what may be coming.

The XOS Network on-line fan management platform is designed specifically for college athletic departments and professional sports teams. XOS has completed similar interactive, rich-media Web sites for the University of Arizona (www.arizonaathletics.com), University of Nebraska (www.huskers.com), University of Oregon (www.goducks.com), and the official site of the Arena Football League (www.arenafootball.com).

They also do www.sunbeltsports.org.

Another questions ...

Why does the Media Guide have rivals listed as the only website?

Another questions ...

Why does the Media Guide have rivals listed as the only website?

The guys at the Rivals site spend a lot of time with the USF SID Office and take on more of a "media" position in how they interact and do things.  They have a relationship as they need to drive content for a pay site.  I am sure the Scout site will be added as well.

Even though SFB does provide some content (varies every year), the site does not have anybody currently representing in the media pool.  So, to them, we're likely a helpful fan site (in distributing releases, etc.), but not an official media outlet...although I don't know what their definition is... :-

Bottom line, is they are good to us - and keep us in the loop via releases, so it's not a big deal.  John Gerdes and the group are often helpful to our needs at SFB and TBP.  Perhaps one day we'll get listed.  But we are going to have to be more content oriented to be so.  As soon as I relocate back to Florida and put a team together, and, well.......we'll see.   ::)

On another note though...I was amazed (as I am sure you were E.T.) just how much the Meineke Bowl embraces fan sites.  As a matter of fact, Frank's assistant runs an independent fan site for the Clemson Tigers.  I guess that is why they treated us as "legit."

They loved us ... even after I took their food money  ;)

Fan Sites are referred to ... Sun Sports seems to have a relationship with scout.

Thanx for the explanation - DNAG good fun with those RayCom guys also  8)

I promise everyone once the new site is up and running you will really enjoy it. It's state of the art and top notch. I can't tell you any more about it until it comes out, but you'll have to take my word on it! It's worth the wait!

I was trying to find your new site in case it was up...but not released.  I might have found it.

www.usfathletics.com - Site could not be found

www.usfsports.com - wierd result.  See for yourself.

www.usfbulls.com - Just a site with your logo.  Last modified 7/7/04 and expires in March.  I wasn't sure if this was the new site at first, but after reading the comments in the code, I don't think it is.  The dates confirm it.

DING DING?  www.gobulls.com - Forbidden

Last modified: Monday, January 16th, 2006

No expiration date set.

Or...they might just keep gousfbulls.com...but the results I found in my 5 minute journey were pretty interesting.
